Syrian Arab Republic: Humanitarian Situation Report No. 7 (As of 23 June 2025)

HIGHLIGHTS

• At least 22 civilians were killed, and dozens were injured due to a suicide attack that targeted St. Elias Church in Damascus City.

• Over 1.23 million people have returned to their areas of origin since early December 2024, with around 93,000 people returned between 19 May and 15 June.

• 1.6 million people across Syria received assistance thanks to the cross-border humanitarian aid from Türkiye in June.

• The RHC and the HC in Syria have launched the 2025 First Standard Allocation Strategy under SCHF and SHF totaling $60 million to address urgent and evolving humanitarian needs across Syria.

• Since the start of 2025, 493 EO incidents took place across Syria resulting in 390 deaths including 108 children and the injury of 536 civilians including 205 children.
