Education Supervisor

NISCVT Makani Center - Education Supervisor ( beddawi)

1. Oversee the implementation of learning support and kindergarten programs across centers.

2. Monitor program activities and propose necessary adjustments to NISCVT Makani Centers’ project manager and education coordinator based on field observations and outcomes.

- Ensure proper understanding and use of monitoring tools by staff, in collaboration with the Data and M&E teams.

- Oversee timely and high-quality data collection (related to student progress, attendance, learning outcomes, etc.) to support program improvement.

3. Coordinate and conduct follow-up visits to UNRWA schools to monitor the academic, behavioral, and emotional progress of beneficiaries/ children.

4. Meet regularly with Learning Support (LS) beneficiaries to assess academic and behavioral development.

5. Liaise with the Family Guidance Center regarding referred beneficiaries and follow up on their regular attendance to ensure they receive the necessary support.

6. Maintain accurate case reports for each child in both the Kindergarten and Learning Support sections to track student needs and interventions.

7. Support educators in managing classroom behavior and maintaining strong communication with parents and caregivers.

8. Support the recruitment process for education staff, including kindergarten and learning support teachers.

- Liaise with the finance and administration department to notify of any staff departures to facilitate recruitment.

9. Assist the Education Coordinator in evaluating teachers’ performance and identifying training and capacity-building needs.

10. Liaise with logistics and procurement teams to secure and distribute educational materials and supplies.

11. Coordinate closely with the Makani Coordinator and provide support in collecting educational data and completing reports related to the education projects.

12. Be present and provide support during visits by UNICEF Palestinian Program team to NISCVT Makani center, whether for evaluations, follow-ups, or brief check-ins.

13. Prepare and submit a monthly report to the Education Coordinator to ensure consistent follow-up and coordination.

14. Ensure strict adherence to the institution’s Child Protection Policy, upholding confidentiality and child-centered practices, with zero tolerance for any violations.

- Immediately report any concerns or breaches to the designated NISCVT Child Protection focal point.

15. Adhere to NISCVT’s Code of Conduct and demonstrate loyalty to the organization in all responsibilities.

16. Engage in continuous professional development and remain updated on best practices in early childhood and elementary education.

17. Participate in relevant internal and external training sessions.

18. Perform any other duties as assigned by NISCVT Makani Centers’ project manager, Education Coordinator and Center Director.
