Academic Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with parents to explain academic procedures and expectations.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and monitor annual teaching plans aligned with the academic calendar.
  • Distribute course curricula, assign teaching hours, and ensure timely and effective lesson delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate teacher performance academically and behaviorally.
  • Audit class records, exams, and answer sheets for accuracy and compliance.
  • Track and report on student performance; identify academic gaps and intervene as needed.
  • Organize regular faculty meetings to review progress and discuss challenges.
  • Coordinate with discipline supervisors to support student behavior management.
  • Supervise lab readiness in technical programs.
  • Evaluate, hire, and replace teaching staff as required.
  • Select and assign textbooks and coordinate academic resources.
  • Act on behalf of the Branch Manager during their absence.
  • Oversee the Academic Officer’s tasks related to scheduling, grading, data entry, and exam management on the Olive system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in academic coordination or educational leadership.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum planning, academic evaluation, and educational systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with educational technologies and school management software (e.g., Olive).
