Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research to identify potential funding opportunities from government, foundations, private sector and international donors.
• Analyze funding trends, understand donor priorities, and assess eligibility criteria to determine fit for CIS College’s mission and program.
• Prepare and write high-quality, compelling proposals in response to funding opportunities.
• Ensure proposals meet deadlines, are well-structured, and are clearly articulated
• Draft and revise technical documents, including budget justifications, supporting materials, outlines and program descriptions.
• Ensure all proposals are in full compliance with donor guidelines, regulations, and reporting requirements
• Support the grants team in post-submission activities, including follow-ups and reporting on outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Public Administration, Social Work, Business Management or Nonprofit Management).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in grant writing, with a proven track record of successful grant proposals and funding acquisition.
• In-depth knowledge of donor regulations and grant compliance standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with educational institutions or nonprofit organizations.
• Familiarity with fundraising databases and platforms
