- Support teachers in classrooms by assisting children with disabilities who may require physical help during learning activities, movement, or daily routines.
- Provide direct physical assistance to children with disabilities (e.g., guiding movement, supporting bathroom access, seating arrangements), while maintaining their dignity and safety.
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure that the learning environment is inclusive and adapted to meet the physical and learning needs of all children.
- Monitor and report on the daily needs, challenges, or changes related to the children with disabilities to the education or inclusion officer.
- Ensure that children with disabilities are safely and comfortably included in all classroom and center activities.
- Assist in organizing and distributing inclusive learning materials and classroom resources.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with caregivers regarding their child’s participation and any specific support needs.
- Support in identifying children who may need further support and refer to the relevant staff member when needed.
- Ensure that all support provided aligns with child safeguarding and protection policies.
- Participate in relevant training sessions provided by the organization to enhance inclusive support practices.
