Education Officer

Purpose:

The Education Officer will support the effective planning, supervision, and technical follow-up of Non-Formal Education and learning interventions under the Makani program.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and capacity building for teachers and facilitators.
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback.
  • Ensure lessons are aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Support in planning assessments and learning evaluations.
  • Contribute to the development of learning materials and toolkits.
  • Compile and analyze education data and report to the project coordinator.
  • Work closely with M&E and inclusion teams to ensure quality delivery.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Education, Pedagogy, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in educational program implementation.
  • Knowledge of formal and non-formal education approaches.
  • Strong facilitation, mentoring, and monitoring skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic; English is an asset.
