Call for Proposal - External Audit

Ghawthis seeking the services of a qualified and independent external audit firm to conduct a comprehensive financial audit of the organization’s accounts for the fiscal year ending 2024-2025 (Two Years). The objective of the audit is to obtain reasonable assurance that the financial statements are free from material misstatement and are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and applicable donor and regulatory requirements.

The external audit will cover all financial transactions, systems, internal controls, and compliance aspects related to organizational operations and donor-funded projects. The audit firm will be expected to issue an audit report, including financial statements and a management letter highlighting any internal control weaknesses and recommendations for improvement.

Key tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and conducting the annual audit in line with international auditing standards.
• Reviewing internal control systems and procedures.
• Examining financial records, project reports, and compliance with donor guidelines.
• Preparing and presenting the audited financial statements.
• Issuing a management letter with audit findings and recommendations.

The audit is expected to be completed within first quarter following 2024 and 2025.
