Field Coordinator - Choueifat - Re-advertised

The Field Coordinator Officer's Duties:

  1. Manage Innovation Lab operations, ensuring proper maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to the Code of Conduct.  
  2. Develop and implement a booking system for training sessions, prioritizing content partners.  
  3. Oversee daily operations, including managing inquiries, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory.  
  4. Ensure good relationships with the donors by attending periodic meetings and maintaining good communication. 
  5. Ensure that the projects’ activities meet their intended targets 
  6. Monitor the projects’ budget, until the end of the projects. 
  7. Coordinate with the Accountant to accomplish financial tasks related to projects’ implementation, including preparation of money transfers, petty cash, and processing of invoices. 
  8. Act as a program focal point and attend meetings. 
  9. Elaborate on strategies to ensure the sustainability of the Innovation Lab. 
  10. Develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative community outreach plan targeting the individual, private, corporate, school, and other organizations
  11. Identify potential beneficiaries to the relevant projects as per the set criteria 
  12. Conduct outreach and community dialogue activities
  13. Assist in social assessment
  14. Make regular visits to stakeholders (municipalities, unions of municipalities, communities, etc.) to assess the needs of the beneficiaries targeted by the project and to build a relationship with them
  15. Conduct support groups and committee  meetings and participate in community forums
  16. File and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting are taking place while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness
  17. Establish connections with entrepreneurs, professionals, academia, activists, and practitioners in the domain of entrepreneurship, NGOs, public and private sectors, UN agencies, entrepreneurial networks or similar parties that help identify potential mentors
  18. Outreach and selection of Youth committee members
  19. Oversee and coordinate Youth committee outreach and community  activities
  20. Support in the procurement process as requested
  21. Build and maintain a database and a community for RE
  22. Raise beneficiaries’ concerns and report weekly to the Project Manager and retain youth and talents to ensure they are part of our community
  23. Monitor the daily ongoing activities
  24. Participate in events and represent RE as requested 

Additional duties and responsibilities 

  1. Actively participate in all training sessions as directed by management including SEA-related training sessions and awareness-raising efforts
  2. Uphold the code of conduct, Child Protection Policy, and all RE policies
  3. Support for dissemination of PSEA materials
  4. Report in good faith all potential allegations of SEA (even if not evidenced) through the Child Protection Focal Point. 
  5. Coordinate with other staff of the project
  6. Other tasks as directed by the Project Manager 

Education, Experience and Skills

  1. A bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience in fields of social work, economics, human resources, marketing, and/or other relevant fields
  2. Strong experience in outreach and recruitment
  3. Excellent reporting, communication, interpersonal skills, and proactive negotiation skills
  4. Have skills in working with people of all ages and social groups
  5. Skilled at working with local communities and authorities
  6. Outgoing and engaging personality with confidence to interact face-to-face with individual and corporate donors
  7. A high degree of personal initiative with the desire and ability to meet aggressive programmatic goals
  8. Flexibility and ability to infuse creativity, innovation, and insight into program fulfillment as we expand our programs
  9. Superior organizational and time management skills
  10. Able to multi-task and work through stringent deadlines while maintaining focus on priorities
  11. Good verbal and written communication skills, with thorough knowledge of Arabic and English
  12. Availability and willingness to work outside regular office hours occasionally
