Water Safety Trainer

CVC is going to provide Water safety training that is essential to prevent waterborne diseases by teaching communities how to purify and test water quality, especially in the targeted villages, where infrastructure has been damaged due to war. It also helps locals manage emergency water sources and recognize chemical contaminants like white phosphorus and cluster bombs to ensure safe handling and consumption

 

  • Target Group

This activity aims to conduct 36 water safety awareness sessions (in 3 years, 12 / year) for 720 returnees (42% women; 58% men) in six villages in South Lebanon (Ein Arab, Marjouyoun, Hebariyeh, Shebaa, Kfarchouba, Rashaya Al fakhar)

 

 

  • Project Background (about the bid)

Each group will benefit from one session to promote safe water use and hygiene practices. Sessions will be led by the Water safety awareness trainer in collaboration with the Wash Officer, Topics will include safe water storage, contamination prevention, and household water treatment methods, using interactive discussions and visual materials.

  • Evaluation and Selection Criteria: 

Evaluation and Selection criteria will be divided as follows: Technical 50%, Financial 50%.

Transportation will be covered by CVC Charity. The trainer is expected to depart from our main office, as transportation to Khaldeh will be arranged from this location. Request for Clarifications:
