Drama therapy trainer - Batroun

We are looking for an experienced Drama therapy trainer to be based in Batroun.

The trainer is responsible for supporting beneficiaries in implementing Art and Drama Therapy activities at the Batroun Community Center. The role involves direct communication with project staff and Tabitha's management, operating under the supervision of the Project Officer and the Community Centers Manager.

Main Tasks:

  • Encouraging beneficiaries to express themselves, share experiences, and explore emotions through a diverse range of creative mediums, including role play, mime, improvisation, scripted drama, puppetry, storytelling, dance, and art.
  • Creating a safe and supportive environment for beneficiaries to engage in art and therapy activities. Foster an atmosphere that promotes trust, openness, and emotional well-being.
  • Adhering to a high level of ethical conduct and humanitarian standards in all aspects of work. This encompasses maintaining confidentiality, respecting the dignity and autonomy of beneficiaries, and fostering an inclusive and non-discriminatory environment.
  • Regularly reporting and documenting sessions for program evaluation and continuous improvement purposes. Collaboration with Team Members.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure a holistic approach to the well-being of the beneficiaries. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall success of the project.
  • Identifying and recommending specific cases for appropriate courses of action.
