RSN is a specialized humanitarian registered center (through ADJI 1981- North Lebanon) dedicated to serve and support some of the most marginalized Lebanese, Syrian & Palestinian children with special needs (PWSN), RSN welcomes more than 600 children yearly in its internal and external departments where it offers an educational, rehabilitation, and social support to their families & society.

Our Center is Certified Green School, equipped with a high technology infrastructure, developed quality system, and a specialized team who aim to assure services perfectness with respecting of safety standards.

As part of its commitment to integrity and ethical conduct, RSN adheres strictly to a zero-tolerance policy on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), ensuring the protection of beneficiaries. All staff are required to follow the Code of Conduct that upholds principles of Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) both during and outside work hours, with mandatory training and familiarization with these guidelines.

Rahma Institute for Special Needs, operated by the Association des Jeunes Islamiques (ADJI), is seeking dedicated and passionate Preschool Teachers to join its Inclusive Education Project. The project aims to prepare young children, including Children with Disabilities (CwDs), for successful integration into formal schools through a supportive, adaptive, and inclusive early learning environment.

The Preschool Teacher will work with children enrolled in KG1, KG2, and KG3, supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while promoting inclusion, participation, and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, inclusive lessons for KG1, KG2, and KG3 learners.
  • Adapt teaching methods and learning materials to meet the diverse needs of all children, including CwDs.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning through play and interaction.
  • Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, communication, and life skills.
  • Work collaboratively with special educators, caregivers, and project staff to implement individualized support strategies.
  • Observe, document, and report on children’s progress and developmental milestones.
  • Promote positive behavior, social inclusion, and peer interaction.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support children’s learning and transition to formal schooling.
  • Participate in trainings, meetings, and project activities related to inclusive education.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Preschool Teaching, or a related field.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in inclusive or special education settings.
  • Basic understanding of inclusive education and child development.
  • Patience, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to child protection, inclusion, and educational equity.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
