About "RMF":

About "AECID":
AECID - Strengthening Rural Development in Lebanon: Boosting the sustainable, inclusive and resilient agricultural economy. (2025-2027) is a project funded by the Spanish Cooperation and implemented by the Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) in partnership with the Fundación Promoción Social (FPS). 

The AECID project is aiming to create a new, more equitable and resilient production system in the apple value chain both at the individual level (small-scale agricultural producers) and collectively (through cooperatives). This will be achieved by improving the productivity and implementing Good Agricultural Practices through capacity building and the adoption of techniques that allow obtaining products of higher quality and competitiveness in the local market. It will contribute to the renovation of apple trees and guaranteeing apple producers’ access to innovative equipment to increase their productivity, profitability and competitiveness.

Purpose of the tender:
The purpose of this Tender is to solicit competitive offers for Apples rootstocks and Grafted Apple Seedlings. The goods required and their technical specification by RMF are described in the Annex: Excel file 02. BOQ _ FINANCIAL PROPOSAL_ AECID012_ PROVISION OF APPLES

The Annex constitutes of an excel file with 2 sheets:

1. Financial Proposal (FP) AECID012 & BOQ and Tree Specifications
2. Technical Requirements

RMF reserves the right to negotiate, accept or reject any or all proposals and quotations at its sole discretion and to pursue or act further on any responses it considers advantageous. RMF does not bind itself to accept the lowest prices or any proposal. All proposals will be irrevocable after the tender's closing date.
