Developmental Action without Borders - Naba’a, is a Lebanese NGO operational since 2001. Registered under the Ministry of Interior (no. 104/AD), Naba’a is dedicated to serving all marginalized communities in Lebanon, especially children, without distinction of nationality, color, race, or religion. This includes communities within camps and gatherings in Lebanon, as well as local Lebanese communities.

I. Key Responsibilities of Community Mobilizer:

1. Project Implementation

  • Execute project activities in accordance with the approved work plan, timeframe, and objectives.
  • Organize and facilitate awareness sessions, campaigns, and community initiatives within the designated operational area.
  • Support the smooth implementation of field activities by adhering to project guidelines and methodologies.

2. Data Management

  • Accurately enter and review beneficiary data to ensure completeness, consistency, and reliability.
  • Monitor data quality and report discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

3. Reporting & Feedback

  • Identify and communicate field challenges, risks, and lessons learned to the project coordinator.
  • Contribute to ongoing project improvement through feedback and field insights.

4. Support to PHCCs

  • Assist the Health Consultant during field visits to PHCCs in terms of coordination and facilitations
  • Refer individuals with identified health conditions to the appropriate PHCCs
  • Facilitate coordination and provide necessary support to PHCCs to address challenges and improve service delivery

5. Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor, provided they align with the project’s overall objectives.

6. Commitment to Nabaa’s Protection Policies:

  • Commit to Nabaa’s Code of Conduct, PSEAH, Child Protection, Safeguarding, Complaint Mechanism and Anti-Corruption policies.

II . MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS of COMMUNITY MOBILIZER

(A) EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor Degree in social work or public health or a related field

(B) EXPERIENCE 

  • Minimum 3 years - experience in the humanitarian sector and the field work

(C)  COMPETENCIES / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES (as needed for performing selected tasks)

  • Attentive to details and problem-solving
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong Field Coordination skills

(E)  TECHNICAL SKILLS (as needed for performing selected tasks)

  • Computer literacy in outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet
  • Effective report writing
  • Timely and accurate data entry
  • Understanding of the concept of health and social project
  • Understanding of advocacy concept
