About Euromed Clusters Forward:

Euromed Clusters Forward is a 4-year project that aims at establishing and improving clusters legal policies, strengthening clusters capacity & regional cooperation, and strengthening regional value chains. Berytech is the implementing partner of Euromed Clusters Forward in Lebanon, that is funded by the European Union and coordinated by Anima Investment Network with 3 implementing partners and 9 affiliates from the Euromed region.

About Made By EuroMed:

This initiative unites VEGEPOLYS VALLEY (France), MENARA (Morocco), and QOOT (Lebanon) to strengthen Euro-Mediterranean value chains by promoting sustainable agricultural practices. It aims to support the green transition of MENARA and QOOT members, capitalize on export opportunities for specific crops, and improve supply chain efficiency through near-shoring. The project fosters collaboration, innovation, and market integration, enhancing competitiveness, creating new business prospects, and promoting a resilient, sustainable agrifood sector across the region

Objective:

To equip at least 5 QOOT, 5 Cluster MENARA and 5 VEGEPOLYS Valley cluster members with practical knowledge and tools for adopting sustainable, green-transition practices (renewable energy, water management & conservation, process optimization…), thereby enhancing their competitiveness, environmental compliance, and market readiness for EU standards. This will happen through online webinars provided by the selected trainer. Selected outstanding "Star Members" will become ambassadors, advocating and demonstrating green transition practices

Scope of work

 

Scope of Work

The Trainer will be responsible for the following:

  • Conduct Needs Assessment: Organize sessions with each cluster to refine and adapt the training curriculum to their specific needs
  • Design and manage Assessments: Develop pre- and post-training tests to measure participants’ learning progress and training impact
  • Curriculum Enrichment (Attached to the ToR): Integrate real case studies and best practices from both local and international green transition initiatives, highlighting their outcomes and impact and share practical tools, guidelines, and reference materials for the participants reference
  • Facilitate Interactive Learning: Deliver at least 5 engaging sessions and group workshops to promote peer-to-peer learning and practical application
  • Assignments Development: Design tailored assignments linked to each training module, serving as deliverables for participants
  • Follow-up and Impact Evaluation: Conduct 2 rounds of clinics (1hour each) with each participant to review assignments, track progress, and provide tailored support
  • Selection of Star Members: Establish clear selection criteria to identify and nominate 2 outstanding participants ("Star Members") to advance to the next activity

 

Format

 

The format will be the following:

  • 5 online workshops (5hours each)
  •  2 rounds of clinics 1 hour/participant (30 clinics in total)

  • Pre- and post-training assessments with analysis of results
  • Delivery of interactive workshops and training materials
  • Resource package for participant reference
  • Follow-up clinics with progress tracking
  • Final report with key findings and recommendations
  • Nomination of two “Star Members” with clear selection criteria
Timeline

 

The total duration of this training is 2 months

 

Qualifications

 

  • Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Climate Change, Circular Economy, or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering green transition or sustainability trainings, with proven experience in needs assessments, curriculum design, and impact evaluation
  • Strong knowledge of local and international best practices, tools, and case studies in green transition in the agricultural and industrial fields
  • Ability to design interactive workshops, practical assignments, and conduct one-on-one coaching/clinics
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and facilitation skills

The Application should include:

  • Technical proposal describing the methodology, content of the project and timeline of each phase
  • Financial proposal describing the costs incurred in preparing and providing the mission. The financial proposal shall be quoted in EURO.
  • CVs of the individuals involved
  • Portfolio of previous similar projects

The shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the first week of October 2025.
