Project Coordinator - South Lebanon - Sarba

  • Program Coordination & Implementation
  • Lead planning, implementation, and monitoring of MPCA activities including beneficiary identification, verification, distribution, and post-distribution monitoring.
  • Supervise and support enumerators and field officers, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and sector guidelines.
  • Oversee transparent and accountable beneficiary selection in coordination with MoSA and community committees.
  • Monitor cash disbursements through financial service providers and address any issues raised by beneficiaries.
  • Mainstream protection, safeguarding, and GEDSI principles across all field activities.

 

  • Reporting & Monitoring
  • Consolidate field data and prepare regular progress updates, situation reports, and donor reports.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all program activities (beneficiary lists, verification forms, distribution reports, PDMs).
  • Support the MEL team in conducting surveys, spot checks, and outcome monitoring.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Program Manager to inform decision-making.
  • Team Management & Capacity Building
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of enumerators and community workers.
  • Conduct field visits to provide guidance, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure quality implementation.
  • Organize induction and refresher training sessions for field staff on beneficiary communication, data protection, complaints handling, and accountability standards.
  • Coordination & Representation
  • Act as the focal point for MPCA-related coordination with MoSA, DRM, local municipalities, and sector working groups in South Lebanon.
  • Represent NABAD in relevant field-level coordination meetings when delegated by the Program Manager.
  • Ensure active community engagement and timely response to feedback through NABAD’s TAKALAM complaints and feedback mechanism.

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in humanitarian project coordination, with at least 1 year in cash-based programming (MPCA, Cash for Food, or similar).
• Proven experience supervising field teams and working on community-based programming.
• Familiarity with sector standards, especially Basic Assistance and Cash Working Group guidelines.
