Post Title: Registration Clerk   within the frame of UNICEF supported program “Strengthening Community-Based Child Protection, Gender Based Violence interventions, and Psychosocial Support in Palestinian Camps and Gatherings in Lebanon” 

 

Location: [Support registration, verification, and orderly management of beneficiaries in NFI distribution sites in north ]

Program period: from [oct 2025  until June 2026

This position is subject to the availability of funds. Employment and continuation in the role are conditional upon final agreement and confirmation from the donor (UNICEF).

Background

The NISCVT is a humanitarian NGO working with the Palestinian communities in Lebanon in development, emergency response and relief through various projects and services addressing the needs of the community.  In partnership with UNICEF  the NISCVT is rolling out a large-scale distribution of Family Hygiene Kits across all Palestinian families in Lebanon (North)each partner operating three centralized distribution sites per area, each partner will designate NFI distribution staff  per each site. In this framework, the NISCVT is seeking to recruit Registration Clerks to support NFIs distribution operations

 

Objective of the position:

The purpose of the post is to assist in, and support NISCVT NFIs distribution operations, data management, streaming and reporting on operations implemented by the distribution teams in designated distribution sites and other relevant operations managed by  NISCVT in the frame of the program.

 

 Key tasks and responsibilities:

The Registration Clerk will work under the supervision of [IM Officer], to whom he/she will report.

Working continuously to keep up with the latest development of real time records on operations. Daily registration and verification sheets. Accurate beneficiary records and reports.

Proofing, registering and verifying family’s personal data and documentation at site level.

Collect designated kit receivers’ signatures and maintain accurate documentation.

Provide families with guidance on entitlements and processes.

Support complaint-handling mechanisms under IM Officer supervision.

Collaborate with Information Management & Reporting Officer, spot checks and beneficiary feedback records

Support any other responsibilities assigned by the [line manager] withing this job.

Participating in training offered by NISCVT  and UNICEF/donor.

Frequent travel from-to distribution sites as required

Reporting any incident or act and any risk identified that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others in the distribution site through reporting and feedback channels assigned by the [NISCVT /donor] is mandatory.  

 

Qualification & Job Requirements:

High school diploma minimum: diploma/degree in administration preferred.

Experience: At least 1 year in registration, data entry, or frontline NGO/community services

Minimum 1 year experience in registration, data entry, or frontline NGO/community services, working within humanitarian/development programs or similar position is strong asset.

Strong data management skills, familiarity with relevant software are strong assets.

 

Other Personal qualifications

Familiarity with basic principles of field operations.

Aptitude for numbers and systems

Hands-on experience with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)

Accuracy and attention to detail, self-organization

Flexible and responsive to program challenges, with willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.

Ability to manage documentation, communication and reporting in English is a must

Applicants who have previously worked or are currently working in similar positions living in, or adjacent to camps and gatherings will be prioritized

Duty station:

Centralized distribution sites where the NFI kits will be distributed to Palestinian refugees living in and outside camps and gatherings in Lebanon, as designated by the [NISCVT]. Applicants may be assigned to different sites within the same geographical operational area as required. There are 5 geographical Areas across Lebanon where distribution sites will be located:

North Lebanon Area

Bekaa-Baalbek Area

Beirut-Mount Lebanon Area

Saida-South Area

Tyre-South Area
