Oxfam is seeking to establish a framework agreement with a qualified supplier for the provision of diesel generators.
This agreement will support the efficient and timely procurement of selected generator models, ensuring reliable energy solutions for humanitarian and development activities in the region.

Normal condition: Pump runs on solar → ATS connects the load to solar.
If Solar unavailable or insufficient: Pump runs on public grid EDL → ATS switches load to EDL.
If both solar and EDL are unavailable: ATS starts the generator → generator supplies the load.

Synchronization to operate generator + solar together
- Fuel Tank: 1000-liter fuel tank, made of 3 mm thick steel, coated with level indicator. Specifications: Elevated 50 cm above ground level, fully secured with brackets and anchoring points.
- After Sales & Warranty Services for one year (include cleaning of generator, inspection, changing of oil, filters. Inspecting the ait intake system)
The Contractor’s relationship will directly be with OXFAM staff. OXFAM will inform the contractor on the date of delivery.
- An Oxfam staff or a representative will be responsible to monitor and confirm the work.
- The contractor should have the capacity to complete the task of delivering a generator within 5 days.
- Supplier shall submit comprehensive technical data sheets for the Generators according to factory testing and commissioning.
- Any item not complying with the specs will be rejected.
- Supplier shall be responsible for transporting the generator(s) to the designated location and for providing any necessary equipment to complete the delivery, and submit a letter indicating that they have equipment to transfer and install the generator.
If the supplier wishes to propose modifications to the specification (which may provide a better way to achieve Oxfam ´s objectives) these must be considered as an alternative offer. The Supplier must make alternative offers in a separate letter to accompany the offer. OXFAM is under no obligation to accept alternative offers.
- TIMEFRAME AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE
The supplier shall deliver the materials / generator (s) in 10 days after signing the contract related to a requested generator (s).
