Oxfam in Lebanon is planning to organize a one night and one day staff retreat for WRF and Oxfam partners to promote staff wellbeing, enhance their skills of self-care. More particularly, the staff retreat aims to:

  • Promote mental and physical wellbeing among staff
  • Improve relationships between team members
  • Provide staff with practical tools for self-care

Interested candidates are invited to submit:

  1. CVs of consultants and/or role of each consultant recruited under the scope of this assignment for firms;
  2. A proposal including a detailed approach and workplan;
  3. Financial proposal detailing the consultancy fees as well as all the costs associated with this assignment;
  4. Minimum of three references of similar activities implemented, preferably INGO or local NGO experiences;
  5. Registration and official government documents, if applicable. Noting that 8.5% will be deducted from the total amount if not registered.
  1. BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT

Oxfam in Lebanon is implementing the Women’s Rights Fund (WRF), which supports local Women’s Rights Organizations with flexible funding and capacity strengthening. Recognizing the heavy workloads, stress, and emotional burden faced by staff and partners, Oxfam aims to prioritize staff wellbeing through a dedicated retreat.

The retreat will provide participants with structured activities designed to encourage relaxation, self-reflection, and peer support, contributing to sustainable mental health and resilience.

 

  1. SPECIFICATION OF GOODS OR SERVICES OR WORK REQUIRED

 

The consultant/facilitator will be responsible for:

• Designing and facilitating a one-night (5 to 7 PM), one-day (Full day) wellbeing retreat program tailored to Oxfam and WRF staff needs.

• Ensuring a balanced agenda of physical, mental, and creative activities such as mindfulness, group reflection, nature walks, art therapy, or stress management workshops.

• Providing practical self-care tools that participants can use after the retreat.

• Creating an inclusive, safe, and confidential environment.

• Coordinating with Oxfam to ensure activities are adequate to staff needs.

Expected Deliverables:

• Agenda and detailed plan of activities.

• Facilitation of retreat (1 night from 5 PM to 7 PM + 1 day (Full day)).

• Brief retreat report summarizing activities delivered, participation, and recommendations for future staff wellbeing initiatives.

 

If the supplier wishes to propose modifications to the specification (which may provide a better way to achieve Oxfam ´s objectives) these must be considered as an alternative offer. The Supplier must make alternative offers in a separate letter to accompany the offer. OXFAM is under no obligation to accept alternative offers.

  1. METHODOLOGY

The consultant/facilitator is expected to:

• Propose a holistic wellbeing approach combining physical, mental, and creative activities.

• Use interactive and participatory methods.

• Ensure all sessions are inclusive, gender-sensitive, and trauma-informed.

• Adapt activities to different levels of comfort and accessibility needs.
