Project Coordinators are responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized. They communicate with various departments to keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan. In addition, they organize reporting, plan meetings and provide updates to project managers.
Main Tasks:
- Manage the realization of project outputs through activities to ensure the timely and effective implementation of project activities to achieve the intended outputs and outcomes.
- Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes
- Ensure that the key stakeholders are aware of the Project activities, progress, and results to maintain transparent communication with & keep them informed about project developments.
- Ensure procurement requests are presented on a timely basis to facilitate timely implementation of field activities, ensuring cost efficiency and accountability in compliance with Mouvement Social and donor regulations and procedures
- Support field staff in their involvement in their areas and receive feedback from them on field work in progress for relevant corrective measures to facilitate their engagement in the project & improve ongoing initiatives.
- Ensure that a participatory approach and a social model approach are adopted in the planning and implementing of all area-based initiatives: to ensure project’s relevance and effectiveness.
- Clear all the community engagements and the projects activities to ensure targeting the needed areas and their alignment with project objectives.
- Provide technical support to the field workers and HOC’s in the planning and implementing of all activities to ensure that the implementation aligns with the project’s objectives.
- Prepare periodic project narrative and financial reports as well as other ad hoc reports, according to donor requirements
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
- Develop teamwork among the project staff, ensuring a conducive working atmosphere is created and opportunities provided to share lessons learned, experiences, observations and challenges to inform the management and the donor
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits to the project locations to provide support to the team and to ensure quality implementation, as well as peer-to-peer learning
- Perform field visits to evaluate the implementation of the activities for improvement to achieve better project outcomes.
- Follow up on daily basis with the Field Workers to ensure that the implementation is aligned with the planned timeline.
- Assist in identifying and obtaining any support and advice required for the management, planning, and control of the project to ensure effective project management, planning, and control.
- Provide & ensure accurate and quality inputs needed for monitoring the Project’s performance, outputs, and benefits to facilitate decision-making.
- Prepare Terms of Reference for engagement of consultants/companies needed for the project activities, monitor and evaluate their performance to achieve project goals.
- With support from the Support Services and Procurement manager, ensure respect for donors’ grant methodology and procurement procedures where applicable to ensure transparency, accountability & efficient resources allocation.
- In cooperation with the Finance Manager, ensure efficient and effective management of the budget to manage the project budget efficiently, maximizing resources for desired outcomes.
- Contribute, in coordination with the communication officer, to the Project’s communication and visibility activities to enhance visibility & ensure project achievements are well-documented.
- Develop different reports used to inform donors and key stakeholders of the Project interventions
- Contribute to the development, update, and implementation of the Project’s plans and ensure delivery in accordance with approved Work, Procurement, and Financial Plans to guarantee that the project remains strategically aligned with its intended outcomes and to enhance project efficiency.
- Fulfill any other duties as decided by the executive director to support successful project implementation.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Masters Degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field
