Social Worker – Outpatient Rehabilitation Program

Oum el Nour is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team, supporting individuals and families affected by substance use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and orient new patients and families to the program
• Facilitate weekly group sessions for patients and parents
• Provide individual follow-up and support to patients and caregivers
• Create a safe space for parents to share and learn tools for relapse prevention
• Collaborate closely with therapists during outcome meetings
• Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute patient insights
• Monitor patient attendance and engagement
• Track progress, maintain documentation, and prepare reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field
• 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in mental health or substance use
• Fluent in Arabic and French; good command of English
• Strong interpersonal, counseling, and communication and group facilitation skills
• Demonstrated empathy, flexibility, and professionalism
