About the Project
The Digital Peace Ambassadors project is a 6-week initiative in Nabatieh, South Lebanon that empowers youth with essential skills in digital literacy, peacebuilding, and responsible online engagement. The program strengthens participants’ ability to counter misinformation, promote tolerance, and use digital platforms as tools for advocacy and social cohesion.
Position: Trainer
NARA is seeking an experienced Trainer to design and deliver structured training sessions for youth participants.
Key Responsibilities
● Deliver participatory workshops covering: digital literacy, online safety, media literacy, peacebuilding, leadership, and advocacy.
● Develop and adapt training materials and tools.
● Ensure sessions are inclusive, youth-centered, and interactive.
● Provide ongoing mentorship to participants throughout the 6 weeks.
● Submit pre- and post-training assessments, and a final training report.
Requirements
● Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in training, facilitation, or youth capacity building.
● Strong expertise in digital literacy, media literacy, peacebuilding, or youth engagement.
● Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Experience working with diverse youth groups.
● Fluency in Arabic (mandatory); English proficiency is an asset.
