Call for Partnership: Feminist Organizations for Joint Project Proposal Development

Leading Hands is seeking to establish a strategic partnership with a registered feminist organization experienced in gender equality, women's empowerment, and community development to collaboratively develop and submit project proposals focused on advancing women's rights and environmental sustainability in Lebanon.

In the wake of the difficult circumstances and hardships faced by the Lebanese people, "Leading Hands" organization was founded by a group of ambitious Lebanese youth in 2019. It officially received its registration under No. 1153 in 2021 and is recognized by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities. Since then, we have been tirelessly working to alleviate the suffering of marginalized groups, providing direct and effective humanitarian aid to improve their lives. In addition, we implement developmental projects aimed at empowering women and ,strengthening their active role in society. We firmly believe in the importance of achieving sustainable development and building a more just and prosperous community.

Leading Hands is an impartial non governmental non- profit organization located in Tripoli-North Lebanon. We are working on women empowerment - youth development- livelihoods and peacebuilding programs. 

Partnership Objectives:

Joint Proposal Development: Collaborate on designing and writing project proposals that integrate feminist approaches with community development initiatives

Shared Expertise: Combine organizational strengths to create more comprehensive and competitive funding proposals

Long-term Collaboration: Establish a sustainable partnership for future project opportunities and joint initiatives

Capacity Building: Exchange knowledge and best practices in feminist programming and project management

Eligibility Criteria:

Registered civil society organization or NGO with legal status in Lebanon or internationally

Demonstrated experience in feminist programming and gender equality initiatives

Proven track record in project proposal development and successful grant acquisition

Experience working with marginalized women and vulnerable communities

Strong organizational capacity including financial management and reporting systems

Commitment to feminist principles, women's rights, and social justice

Willingness to collaborate on projects focused on women's empowerment, environmental sustainability, or community development

Women's leadership and civic participation

Gender-based violence prevention and response

Youth and women's education and skills development
