Legal Consultant / Lawyer - Bekaa Hermel

Legal Representation

• Represent individuals in civil, criminal, or administrative proceedings, especially refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons, and survivors of gender-based violence.
• Liaise with courts, public institutions, and legal aid networks to facilitate access to justice.
• Prepares legal documents, petitions, and appeals on behalf of clients.

Legal Counseling and Advice

• Conduct one-on-one legal counseling sessions to inform individuals of their rights, procedures, and available remedies.
• Provide guidance on residency, civil documentation, family law, labor rights, housing, and protection-related issues.
• Support survivors of exploitation, abuse, or trafficking with tailored legal pathways

Case Management and Referral

• Identify legal needs through protection assessments and refer cases to specialized services (e.g., psychosocial, shelter, health).
• Maintain confidential case files and ensure data protection in line with humanitarian standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate case files, legal documentation, and beneficiary records in line with data protection standards.
• Ensure legal services align with humanitarian principles, national laws, and donor requirements
• Contribute to donor reports, legal assessments, and protection analysis.
• Monitor trends in legal needs and contribute to advocacy efforts for improved access to justice.
