Group Dynamic and Conflict Resolution Expert

1. Job Summary:
We are seeking a Group Dynamic and Conflict Resolution Expert. The Group Dynamics and Conflict Resolution Expert will lead the assessment and analysis of political groups (Alternative groups) to identify key dynamics, interests, sources of tension or conflict, and areas of collaboration and common understanding. The expert will design and implement methodologies to evaluate the groups` relations, communication patterns, and structures. Based on the findings, the expert will propose practical strategies and mechanisms to enhance dialogue, and collaboration among these political groups.

2. Objective The overall objective of engaging a Group Dynamic and Conflict Resolution Expert, is to support conflict transformation, strengthen consensus-building, and promote constructive engagement between diverse alternative political stakeholders, through writing a critical paper on these groups and facilitating the effort between them.

3. Job Description
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of alternative political groups to analyze their internal dynamics, relationships, and power structures.
• Identify key sources of tension, mistrust, or conflict between political actors or parties.
• Design and apply qualitative and participatory tools (e.g., interviews, focus groups, stakeholder mapping) to gather insights on group behavior and interaction patterns.
• Facilitate dialogue sessions and workshops aimed at promoting communication, trust-building, and collaboration.
• Develop conflict resolution and mediation strategies tailored to the political and social context. • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance cooperation, reduce polarization, and strengthen consensus-building processes.
• Build the capacity of stakeholders in negotiation, mediation, and conflict transformation techniques.
• Produce analytical reports summarizing findings, challenges, and proposed interventions.
• Collaborate with the project team to integrate conflict-sensitive approaches into broader program activities.

4. Duration of the Assignment:
The Period for this contract is from October 1, 2025, until December 15, 2025.

5. Qualifications and Experience:
• Advanced university degree in Conflict Resolution, Political Science, Peace and Security Studies, Sociology, or a related field.
• Advanced understanding of the political context in Lebanon with a focus on the alternative movements, groups, and political parties.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in similar roles.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. • Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
