On 26 October 2025, DTM field teams reported that between 2,500 and 3,000 individuals were displaced due to ongoing clashes in Al Fasher town of Al Fasher locality, North Darfur. These figures represent preliminary information only, pending further verification from DTM field teams on-the-ground. Figures may change due to ongoing insecurity and rapidly evolving displacement dynamics. According to field teams, individuals were reportedly displaced to locations within Al Fasher, and may be moving towards Tawila and Melit localities, North Darfur depending on security conditions and movement restrictions.
Prior to the clashes reported on 26 October 2025, an estimated 2,000 individuals were displaced from Al Fasher town between 23 and 25 October 2025. Preliminary reports from field teams indicated IDPs were reportedly displaced to various locations across Al Fasher and Tawila localities in North Darfur.
