General objective of the job:
AND is seeking a qualified IT Trainer to conduct a skills-building program aimed at empowering vulnerable women and adolescent girls. The training will combine tailored needs assessments with the design and delivery of IT learning materials, enhancing participants’ digital competencies and ensuring effective use of technology systems and tools.
Job Responsibilities:
The IT Trainer will be responsible for delivering the following learning outcomes:
- Understand basic computer components and their functions.
- Navigate operating systems (Windows/macOS) efficiently.
- Manage files and folders: create, organize, and back up data.
- Use essential software: web browsers, email, word processors.
- Practice safe computing: antivirus use, password hygiene, and internet safety.
- Troubleshoot common technical issues independently.
- Introduce Excel interface, terminology, and basic spreadsheet operations.
- Train participants to create, format, and manage worksheets and workbooks.
- Teach formulas, functions (e.g., SUM, IF, VLOOKUP), and cell referencing techniques.
- Demonstrate data visualization using charts, graphs, and conditional formatting.
Deliverables
The provider of services shall be responsible for the following deliverables:
- A comprehensive training syllabus and timetable.
- All materials used throughout the workshop and training curriculum.
- Training logistics, including attendance sheets and record-keeping.
- Delivery of a 120-hour training cycle located in Al Jured area.
- Final appraisal report with recommendations for future training.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Trainer or in a similar technical training role.
- Proficiency in instructional design and learning management systems (LMS).
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Reporting
The IT trainer shall report to the project manager.
