Vitas Lebanon, in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity International (HFH), invites qualified consultants to apply for the position of Renewable Energy Technical Expert under the project Supporting Access to Renewable Energy and Housing Improvement Finance in Lebanon.
The consultancy aims to strengthen Vitas Lebanon’s internal technical capacity and ethical advisory standards in renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) financing. The selected consultant will design and deliver tailored training for approximately 40 staff members and develop both internal and customer-facing technical guidance materials.
Main tasks include:
Delivering a training program covering renewable energy technologies, cost-benefit and ROI assessment, ethical advisory practices, and investment guidance.
Developing internal tools and due diligence checklists for staff.
Producing simplified technical guidance materials for customers in Arabic and English.
Providing a final report summarizing outcomes and recommendations.
The assignment is short-term, with the consultant expected to propose a detailed timeline and total number of working days.
Eligible applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field, with at least five years of professional experience in Lebanon’s RE sector and proven experience developing training materials or technical content.
