Medrar Psychosocial Support Program – Healing Minds and Rebuilding Lives After War

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen family well-being and support parents in navigating modern social and psychological pressures, Medrar Foundation held an educational awareness lecture titled “Parenting in Times of Challenges and the Balance Between Firmness and Containment” at the Al-Masaken Al-Shaabiyya in Tyre - Lebanon.

The session was delivered by Mrs. Batoul Moussa, who addressed key parenting challenges facing families today, emphasizing the importance of healthy communication, emotional stability, and positive discipline. The event also featured a rich and meaningful dialogue between the attending women and psychotherapist Dr. Layla Reda Safieddine, who provided professional insights on child behavior, emotional support, and practical strategies for managing difficult parenting situations.

The activity had a significant impact on participants, offering them a safe space to express concerns, ask questions, and share experiences. Many attendees reported that the session helped them better understand their children’s emotional needs and identify tools to improve household dynamics. By promoting psychological awareness and empowering mothers with practical knowledge, Medrar Foundation continues to contribute to stronger, healthier, and more resilient families within the community.

At the end of the event, Medrar distributed symbolic appreciation gifts to the participants in recognition of their engagement and contribution to the dialogue.
