Internship Title: Grants Assistant Intern
Supervisor: Grants, Quality and Learning coordinator/ or Head of Programs
Duration: 6 months
Duty Station: WeWorld Office in Beirut- Furn El Chebbek
Objectives:
The intern will support the Program team in reporting processes, drafting of new project proposals and ensuring effective coordination among departments. On the other hand, through this internship, the Grants Assistant intern will:
- Gain practical experience in project cycle management and donor reporting
- Understand NGO grant management procedures and donor compliance requirements
- Develop skills in proposal writing
- Enhance communication and organizational skills
- Build knowledge of the humanitarian and development sector
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Grants, Quality and Learning coordinator/ or Head of Programs, the Grants Assistant Intern will:
- Support in drafting and reviewing project documentation (such as reports, studies, assessments, etc.)
- Support in collecting and consolidating input from project teams for donor reports and internal monitoring tools
- Help ensure proper filing and archiving of project documentation
- Assist in preparing communication materials related to ongoing projects
- Contribute to the preparation of project concept notes or proposals, including budgeting and narrative sections
- Support coordination between programme and MEAL teams for data collection and reporting
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from the faculties of International Relations, Development Studies, Political Science, or a related field of study
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Good command of Microsoft Office
- Strong writing and communication skills in English
Internship Reimbursement: WeWorld will provide the Intern with a monthly reimbursement for transportation, equal to 100 USD (one hundred US dollars) per month.
