Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified Psychologist based in Bekaa (Baalbek and Hermel districts).
Job Purpose / Main Functions:
• Provide MHPSS to children exposed to, or at risk of, child protection concerns, and set up activities that contribute to the growth and development of children and their families in the CDCs and other child-friendly and safe spaces in Baalbek and Hermel.
• Provide family therapy to parents and caregivers of children exposed to, or at risk of, child protection concerns.
• Ensure that Tdh’s strategy and policies are implemented in their field of work.
• Conduct individual and group support sessions for CP cases and their caregivers, as relevant.
• Rove between static CDCs and mobile centers in Baalbek / Hermel, report to the Protection Manager, and ensure referrals of cases requiring additional services to the relevant focal points.
• Provide one-to-one psychological counselling.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Guidelines on MHPSS and the IASC intervention pyramid, ensuring alignment with a multi-layered service approach.

o License to practice Clinical Psychology from the Ministry of Public Health.
