Bus Driver

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    •    Drive students, staff members, and volunteers safely to various destinations as required.
    •    Assist in collecting and delivering documentation to and from offices, local authorities, NGOs, and other relevant entities.
    •    Liaise with the Supervisor on all operational matters.
    •    Ensure logbooks are properly completed and signed by the relevant passengers.
    •    Perform minor mechanical repairs on the vehicle as needed.
    •    Report any vehicle damage to Operations immediately.
    •    Report any issues related to the security of staff or vehicles without delay.
    •    Submit required reports to the Logistics Department.

COMPETENCIES
    •    Be at least 23 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of two years.
    •    Hold a full, clean Lebanese driving license.
    •    Have no medical condition that precludes the safe operation of a vehicle.
    •    Be able to complete the logbook and vehicle checklist accurately.
    •    Hold a clean judicial record.
    •    Adhere fully to Lebanese driving laws.
    •    Be aware of all required bus tools and equipment (first aid kit, jumper cables, fire extinguisher, spare tire, jack, tool kit, etc.) and ensure they are in proper working order. Drivers must know the location of these items.
    •    Be able to report any safety issues with vehicles to the Logistics and Security Manager and the Logistics Coordinator immediately.
    •    Be able to perform minor mechanical repairs on vehicles as required.
