Part-Time Bus Driver

The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and timely and reliable transportation of teachers and students to and from the learning center. The role requires strict adherence to road safety standards, child-protection policies, and Ana Aqra Association’s internal procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Drive teachers to and from the learning center.
•    Transport students according to the daily schedule, including multiple trips to accommodate different student groups.
•    Ensure the safe pick-up and drop-off of students and staff.
•    Maintain the assigned buses in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
•    Ensure buses are kept fueled and washed (expenses covered by the organization).
•    Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and child-protection standards.
•    Coordinate closely with the Project Coordinator on all operational and logistical matters.
•    Immediately report any security, safety, or mechanical issues related to staff or vehicles.
•    Submit fuel receipts or other approved transportation-related expenses as required.

Qualifications
•    Valid Lebanese driving license (appropriate category for bus transportation).
•    Previous experience driving buses or similar vehicles is preferred.
•    Medically fit to operate a vehicle safely.
•    Clean judicial record.
•    Ability to work respectfully with children and education staff.
•    Strong commitment to safety, ethical conduct, and organizational values.
•    High sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
