ECE Facilitator

Job Summary

1. Scope of Work

The teacher/facilitator will plan, prepare, and deliver ECE sessions in alignment with the certified curriculum, while ensuring a safe, child-friendly, and inclusive learning environment for all learners. They will actively participate in all required trainings, coaching sessions, and technical support activities to maintain high instructional quality. The teacher/facilitator is also expected to work according to the center’s assigned schedule, whether in the morning or afternoon shift, as determined by program needs.

2. Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Create a child-friendly, safe space aligned with ECE standards.
• Prepare learning corners, sensory materials, and age-appropriate resources.
• Foster emotional regulation, positive behavior, and social skills.
• Deliver ECE sessions following the CB-ECE curriculum.
• Facilitate structured play, storytelling, music, and fine motor activities.
• Prepare weekly lesson plans.
• Ensure all teaching materials are prepared in advance.
• Differentiate instruction for children with varying learning levels.
• Apply active learning and student-centered methods.
• Conduct placement tests, pre/post assessments, and ongoing formative assessments.
• Maintain child portfolios (artwork, worksheets, photos).
• Document and report learning outcomes to the Center Supervisor.
• Promote positive discipline and emotional safety.
• Integrate SEL and PSS activities into sessions.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and coordination activities.
• Adhere to SHiFT’s Child Protection & PSEA policies.
• Immediately report child protection concerns.
• Support distributions and events.
• Any additional tasks requested by the supervisor.

3. Qualifications

Education:

• LT or BA in early childhood education or any relevant field.

Experience:

• Knowledge of child development milestones and play-based learning.
• Experience working with young children.
• Warm, patient, and creative personality.
