2. Key Responsibilities
A. Project Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and manage the implementation of all Makani components across both centers:
- CB-ECE
- BLN
- ALP
- RS
- Youth BLN & Functional Skills
- ECD & Nutrition (RISING package)
- Digital Learning
- Outreach, FPSS & Inclusion
- Develop detailed implementation plans, activity calendars, and weekly/monthly targets.
- Provide technical guidance to Center Managers and ensure alignment with UNICEF standards.
B. Staff Supervision & Performance Management
- Supervise Center Managers and all technical staff ensuring quality, consistency, and accountability.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Identify staff capacity-building needs and facilitate UNICEF-recommended trainings.
C. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Oversee monitoring systems and ensure accurate, timely feeding of reporting tools/ platforms.
- Conduct field visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly narrative reports for management and UNICEF.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and success stories.
D. Financial Management & Compliance
- Coordinate with Finance Officer to monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with donor rules.
- Ensure there is no overlap or double charging and that all time allocations are documented.
- Review procurement requests and ensure transparency & accountability.
E. Partnership, Liaison & Representation
- Serve as the primary liaison with RTP and UNICEF for all Makani-related coordination.
- Participate in relevant sectoral meetings (Education & CP ).
- Coordinate with municipalities, PHCs, schools, and community actors.
- Build strong community acceptance and visibility for the project.
F. Safeguarding, Child Protection & Ethical Conduct
- Uphold SFD, RTP and UNICEF PSEA, Safeguarding, and Child Protection standards.
- Ensure all staff, volunteers, and facilitators comply with ethical and professional conduct.
- Ensure all centers maintain safe, dignified, inclusive environments.
- Report any safeguarding concern immediately following official procedures.
G. Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify operational challenges, risks, and bottlenecks affecting program delivery.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Provide timely solutions to field challenges and emergencies.
3. Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Management, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing multi-component projects (preferably UNICEF-funded).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in education, youth development, or protection programming.
- Excellent reporting, communication, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in Arabic; good command of English required.

5. Special Conditions
- Travel between the two centers is required.
