Key Responsibilities
Programmatic & Organizational Inclusion
- Support Nusaned in promoting equal, safe, and meaningful access for persons with disabilities across all programs, services, and internal practices.
- Review, understand, and support the implementation of disability inclusion, safeguarding, and protection policies, ensuring practical application at field and organizational levels.
- Provide technical support to the program and PDQ departments throughout the project cycle (design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation) to integrate disability-inclusive approaches.
- Support the identification, analysis, and reduction of physical, communication, informational, and attitudinal barriers affecting persons with disabilities.
- Collaborate with the People & Culture department to promote inclusive recruitment, onboarding, training, and service delivery practices.
Capacity Building & Awareness
- Support the design and delivery of awareness sessions and trainings for staff, partners, and volunteers on disability inclusion, accessibility, and inclusive programming.
- Contribute to strengthening staff capacity on rights-based and inclusive approaches, in coordination with P&C, PDQ, Safeguarding, and MEAL teams.
Tools, Guidelines & Coordination
- Support the development, review, and adaptation of tools, guidelines, and communication materials to ensure accessibility and inclusion.
- Coordinate with the Head of Operations, People & Culture to ensure that inclusion standards and commitments are applied consistently across programs.
- Contribute to documentation of lessons learned, good practices, and challenges related to disability inclusion.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any additional tasks related to inclusion, protection, or accessibility as requested by the Project Manager and/or Head of Operations, People & Culture management and in line with organizational priorities.

Reports to: Project Manager and/or Head of Operations, People & Culture
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Works Closely With: PDQ Manager, Department Heads, People & Culture, Communications, MEAL, AAP & Safeguarding teams, field officers, and volunteers.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Public Health, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience working with persons with disabilities in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting or delivering trainings, awareness sessions, or community engagement activities.
- Previous experience working with NGOs or community-based organizations is an asset.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of disability inclusion, protection principles, and rights-based approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse project teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and coordination skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary field teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic humanitarian environments.
