JOB SUMMARY
The speech therapist works to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
DUTIES
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders to Lebanese, Syrian and other children/youth with special needs.
- Fill documents related to the psychomotor SOP in order to complete patients’ files.
- Conduct awareness sessions with beneficiaries/caregivers.
- Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines.
- Coordinate with the psychomotor clinical supervisor.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Microsoft office – all applications
- Bachelor Degree in Speech Therapy
- 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience
- Experience with NGO is a plus
