Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Manage daily cash transactions, including receipts and payments, in accordance with approved procedures.
- Prepare payment vouchers, cash vouchers, and supporting documentation for review and approval.
- Ensure timely processing of payments to staff, suppliers, and service providers.
- Maintain accurate cashbooks and petty cash records.
Banking & Treasury Management
- Coordinate bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Assist in bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Safeguard cash, cheques, and financial instruments in line with internal control standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain organized and complete financial records for audit and donor review purposes.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries as requested by the Finance Manager.
- Ensure all financial documents are properly filed and archived.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with CVC Charity’s financial policies, Code of Conduct, and donor financial requirements.
- Report any financial irregularities, discrepancies, or suspected fraud immediately.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate closely with the Finance Department, HR, and Program teams on financial matters.
