Purpose of the Assignment
To design and deliver three 1-day specialized trainings that build the technical capacity of referral focal points to:
- Understand protection principles and safe referrals
- Apply inter-agency referral pathways
- Map services accurately
- Handle cases ethically, confidentially, and safely
3. Scope of Work
The trainer will:
A. Preparation
- Review ALA’s project framework and inter-agency referral tools
- Adapt training materials to the camp context
- Develop:
- Agenda
- PPT presentations
- Case studies & role plays
- Pre/Post tests
- Practical referral exercises
B. Delivery (3 Trainings)
Each training will be 1 full day (6–7 hours) and include:

C. Coordination
- Coordinate with ALA Project Manager & Protection Focal Point
- Align with UNRWA and local service structures

5. Target Participants
40 referral focal points (community members + NGO workers) working in:
- Child Protection
- GBV
- Health
- Legal services
Locations:
- Sabra & Shatila Camps
- Mar Elias Camp
- Borj Barajneh Camp
Duration of Assignment: 3 training days total (1 full day per location)
Dates of Trainings :
- Sabra & Shatila Camps : 12 February 2026
- Mar Elias Camp : 13 February 2026
- Borj Barajneh Camp : 16 February 2026
6. Required Qualifications
- University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Law, Public Health, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in protection programming
- Proven experience in CP/GBV referral systems
- Experience delivering humanitarian trainings
- Knowledge of Lebanese inter-agency referral pathways
- Strong facilitation and participatory training skills
- Arabic fluency (required)
7. Ethical Standards
The trainer must:
- Follow confidentiality & safeguarding principles
- Sign ALA Code of Conduct
