JOB SUMMARY
The Education Assistant is responsible for supporting the education team in the overall implementation of the education project in Beirut. The candidate will closely work with most vulnerable communities to ensure community mobilization and engagement throughout the implementation of the project activities.
DUTIES
- Fill the assessment and eligibility criteria form to select the most vulnerable families in need of support
- Participates in the planning and implementation of the project activities including: outreach, community mobilization, awareness session, training, and follow up
- Handles work-related data entry and input
- Ensures proper monitoring of the implementation process of the project
- Supports the capacity building and learning process of the community groups
- Refers specific cases to different services whenever required
- Any other tasks required in the framework of the education program and activities
- Collaborate with other NGOs for the implementation of activities related to the project

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Microsoft office – all applications
- Software applications required for daily operations
- Bachelor Degree in Education, Social Work, Social Sciences, Sociology, Animation or any related field
- 1 to 2 years of working experience in teaching preferably Arabic, English and Mathematics
- Experience working with refugees and other vulnerable groups
- Experience in community mobilization
