Under the direct Technical supervision of the Inclusion Specialist & Administrative supervision of the Head of Center; SBC Officer will:

• Maintain the building up of the inclusion service mapping to ensure accurate and comprehensive information on available services and resources for individuals with disabilities;
• Identify Children with disabilities in the vulnerable areas to provide them with the needed service and ensure that no eligible child is overlooked or left without support;
• Assess and refer of Children with Disabilities (CWD) to different services to facilitate their referral to appropriate services based on their individual requirements;
• Monitor the completion of the referrals process through RIMS to ensure timely and effective service access;
• Enroll CWDs with severe cases in Specialized Schools and ensure that children are receiving good quality services to ensure a good improvement in both levels educational and therapies as well as their holistic development and well-being to be included in formal education system;
• Continuously update the Disability tracking sheet to maintain good reporting;
• Evaluate the services providers including the specialized schools to make sure that CwD are receiving good quality services;

Under the direct Technical supervision of the project coordinator& Administrative supervision of the Head of Center; SBC Officer will:

• Conduct Community Engagement (CE) processes as per the UNICEF curriculum to collaboratively decide on project activities that align with community needs and priorities;
• Regularly fill the CE template and get clearances for SBC activities to initiate Social and Behavioral Change (SBC) activities;
• Implement SBC initiatives as per the Key Activity Guidelines to promote desired behavior change and outcomes;
• Regularly report to the program coordinator on progress, challenges, ways forward… to get the needed advices and support;
• Fill or make sure that KOBO questionnaires are filled before and after each SBC initiatives to measure the impact of these activities on target populations;
• Ensure a weekly update of SBC segregation and Disability tracking sheets to maintain up to date reports and facilitate informed decision-making;
• Ensure a correct monthly reporting using the shared template to support in the reporting process & facilitate informed decision-making;
• Collect each month four Most Significant Change stories to showcase the project's impact on individuals and communities;
• Facilitate the selection of 1 story in coordination with the head of center and as social worker to best represents the project's achievements and changes;
• In addition to the main tasks, SBCOs will have a technical supervisory role, they will monitor the work of the SBC volunteers in the followings to ensure that the volunteers are working as per the required standards and guidelines
• Building up the inclusion service mapping;
• Outreach new children with disabilities;
• Process and criteria of referring Children with Disabilities (CWD) to different services;
• Complete the referrals process through RIMS;
• Community Engagement Process;
• Preparation and implementation of the SBC activities;
• Filling the KOBO questionnaires and any other monitoring tools;
• Collecting MSC Stories;

Extra Tasks:

Also some of the SBCOs will act as a focal point/reference for one SBC Tool to standardize the implementation of the tools in all the centers, support the team and the most important to improve their skills and upgrade their knowledge as team leader;

Provide first clearance of the post

Social Mobilization (Innovation and classic mobilization):

Ensure quality action plans for social mobilizations – innovation and classic mobilization

Support other officers to innovate and propose creative initiatives

Provide feedback on the sessions as per the key activity guidelines and experience
