- The Agriculture Engineer plays a key technical role in ensuring the quality, sustainability, and compliance of all agricultural and water-related interventions under this CBPF-funded project, including:
- Conducting technical site assessments for selected farmers;
- Validating technical suitability of beneficiaries for agricultural support;
- Reviewing and approving technical designs and BoQs for solar pumping systems and greenhouses;
- Supervising installation works and ensuring compliance with approved specifications;
- Monitoring the use of unconditional agricultural input cash assistance (USD 500) by farmers;
- Coordinating closely with MoA focal points to ensure adherence to national standards and climate-smart agriculture principles;
- Supporting MEL teams with technical inputs for PDM, outcome monitoring, and verification;
- Ensuring proper documentation, handover, and sustainability of all agricultural assets.
- The position ensures technically sound, climate-resilient, and accountable delivery of agricultural interventions.

Agricultural infrastructure
Irrigation systems and water management
Solar-powered pumping systems and/or greenhouses
Experience working with NGOs/INGOs in Food Security, Livelihoods, or Agriculture projects.
Proven experience in technical site assessments, contractor supervision, and quality control.
Experience coordinating with Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and local authorities.
Prior field experience in Baalbek or Zahle districts is a strong asset.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in:
