Workshop Description
In today’s rapidly evolving development landscape, NGOs are required to adapt, innovate, and rethink traditional models of service delivery, partnership, and sustainability.
This workshop is designed specifically for civil society leaders and teams who seek to strengthen their organizations’ relevance, responsiveness, and impact. Through structured and unconventional ideation processes, participants will explore practical tools and frameworks that stimulate innovation within NGO programs, operations, and strategy.
Participants will engage in guided group work to critically examine outdated models, identify gaps in current practices, and co-create innovative, context-responsive solutions aligned with the realities of the communities they serve.
After completing this workshop successfully, participants will be able to:
- Apply creative thinking principles within NGO program design and organizational strategy
- Challenge conventional development approaches and stimulate innovative, context-driven ideas
- Utilize diverse ideation models (e.g., Round Robin, Six Thinking Hats, SCAMPER) to enhance team-based problem-solving
- Strengthen collaborative innovation within their organizations and networks
- Generate, refine, and evaluate solutions to improve program effectiveness and sustainability
- Translate creative insights into actionable implementation plans
- Enhance organizational impact across projects, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives
