As part of the Locally-Led Anticipatory Action (LLAA) project implemented by Amel Association International, under its Older People component, a translator is required to transcribe and translate two audio recordings capturing focus group discussions.
The translator will be expected to handle all information with strict confidentiality, ensuring that the content of the discussions is not shared or disclosed to any third party outside of Amel team.
The audio recordings are in Arabic. The Translator will be responsible for producing both an Arabic transcription and an English translation.
The Translator shall:
2.1 Transcribe two audio recordings in Arabic into accurate written Arabic text. Each recording is approximately forty minutes in length.
- Translate the completed Arabic transcriptions into English.
- Produce two final reports:
- One report in Arabic
- One report in English
2.6 Ensure that both versions accurately reflect the content of the original audio recordings and are delivered in a clear, well-structured format.
- Submit all deliverables within the agreed timeframe.
