Logistics Officer (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Warehouse Management
• Manage the Bekaa warehouse and maintain updated inventory records.
• Ensure all office, project, and guesthouse equipment is in good working condition.
• Arrange maintenance and repairs when needed.

Vehicle & Transportation

• Ensure organizational vehicles are maintained, insured, and safe.
• Follow up on vehicle documentation and repairs.
• Drive organizational vehicles when required (manual transmission).
• Arrange transportation for staff when necessary.

Procurement & Administration

• Handle procurement processes according to Salam LADC policies.
• Collect quotations and purchase required items.
• Maintain proper procurement documentation.
• Submit invoices to the accountant on a weekly basis.
• Maintain leases, licenses, and supplier contracts.

Field & Distribution Support

• Support and/or lead distributions when required.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and field conduct policies.
• Coordinate daily logistics needs with staff and volunteers.
• Ensure logistics systems follow Salam LADC and donor requirements.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, procurement, warehouse management, or a similar role is preferred.
• Valid driving license (mandatory).
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles (required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Must be based in Bekaa.
