Program Implementation:
- Implement structured focused PSS sessions according to the approved curriculum and children’s age groups.
- Ensure meaningful participation of children using inclusive and non-discriminatory approaches.
- Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and child-friendly environment in line with minimum standards.
- Encourage children to express themselves and positively interact during sessions.
- Ensure activities are conducted in appropriate and safe locations.
- Develop individual and group progress reports while maintaining strict confidentiality of records.
- Maintain attendance sheets and ensure timely submission of weekly activity reports.
- Provide appropriate feedback to parents/caregivers regarding children’s participation (when appropriate and in presence of the child).
- Identify children in need of additional support and ensure proper referral to specialized CP/GBV/MHPSS services following safe identification and referral procedures.
- Document implementation challenges, feedback, and lessons learned.
Coordination & Referral:
- Ensure all children and caregivers are informed about accountability and complaint mechanisms.
- Coordinate closely with case workers, MHPSS officers, and other service providers to ensure smooth referrals and follow-up.
- Maintain updated knowledge of available services for referral pathways.
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of attendance sheets, assessment tools, and weekly narrative reports.
- Maintain proper filing systems respecting confidentiality and data protection standards.
- Report any protection concerns immediately to the supervisor according to internal SOPs.
Compliance & Safeguarding:
- Strictly adhere to the organization’s Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy, PSEA policy, and Community Feedback Mechanism.
- Participate in mandatory trainings, including CP Minimum Standards, Safe Identification and Referral, PFA, Emotional Crisis Management, and other sector-required trainings.
- Work flexibly, including in volatile environments when required.
