Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budget Management
Prepare, monitor, and revise project budget; track expenditures against approved budgets and flag variances.
Financial Reporting & Donor Compliance
Produce accurate financial reports for donors and management, ensuring compliance with donor rules, internal policies, and contractual obligations.
Accounting & Record Keeping
Record daily accounting entries, maintain proper documentation, and ensure all transactions are recorded in line with accounting standards.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and forecasts to ensure liquidity and timely payments to suppliers, and partners.
Procurement & Payment Oversight
Review and validate procurement requests, purchase orders, and payment requests to ensure accuracy, budget availability, and compliance.
Audit & Internal Controls
Support internal and external audits, strengthen financial controls, and address audit findings and recommendations.
