Animator & Video Editor

1) Background

The Self-Help Plus (SH+) program, is an evidence-based psychosocial support approach designed to strengthen coping skills and reduce psychological distress among adults facing adversity. In Lebanon, SH+ is being delivered as part of broader efforts to expand access to mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), including through digital and audio-based formats that can reach communities at scale.

At the same time, engagement and comprehension can be strengthened when audio content is supported by clear, structured visuals—especially for users who learn better through visual cues, have attention barriers, or benefit from reinforced messaging. The “Doing What Matters” (DWM) illustrated guide provides a strong visual foundation for presenting key concepts in a simple and user-friendly way, and can be leveraged to enhance the accessibility and audience engagement of the five SH+ episodes.

In collaboration with the National Mental Health Programme (NMHP) and with IDRAAC as the implementing partner and in coordination with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), this activity aims to develop animated and synchronized visuals for the SH+ episodes including alignment with the sign language illustration, captions and audio.

To address this need, IDRAAC seeks a qualified Animator & Video Editor to animate selected illustrations and synchronize the resulting motion graphics with the audio tracks, sign language illustration, and captions producing professional video episode outputs suitable for dissemination across partner channels and digital platforms.
