RS Facilitator

Major Responsibilities:

  • Simplify lessons for struggling learners while maintaining curriculum alignment.
  • Support homework reinforcement and basic study skills.
  • Use examples, exercises, and visual aids suitable for different levels.
  • Track progress weekly and adapt teaching based on needs.
  • Create a child-friendly, safe space aligned with standards.
  • Prepare weekly lesson plans.
  • Ensure all teaching materials are prepared in advance.
  • Differentiate instruction for children with varying learning levels.
  • Apply active learning and student-centered methods.
  • Conduct placement tests, pre/post assessments, and ongoing formative assessments.
  • Document and report learning outcomes to the Center Supervisor.
  • Promote positive discipline and emotional safety.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and coordination activities.
  • Adhere to AFA’s Child Protection & PSEA policies.
  • Immediately report child protection concerns.
  • Support distributions and events.
  • Any additional tasks requested by the supervisor.

 

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualification

  • University degree, Teaching Diploma is a plus and 1 year experience in a relevant field

or

  • University student with minimum 2 years experiences in a relevant field

Skills

  • Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Good writing skills.
  • Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Computer Skills specially Microsoft Excel is a must
