Program Implementation:
Facilitate structured parenting and psychosocial support group sessions using approved curriculum.
Promote positive parenting practices, non-violent discipline, and nurturing care approaches.
Strengthen caregivers’ understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing, and stress reactions.
Support caregivers in developing practical stress management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Facilitate peer-support discussions to strengthen social support networks among caregivers.
Create a safe, respectful, and confidential environment during sessions.
Raise awareness on child protection risks and safeguarding practices at household and community levels.
Maintain accurate attendance records for all sessions.
Document session feedback, challenges, and lessons learned.
Referral and Coordination:
Identify caregivers and families requiring additional psychosocial, protection, or specialized mental health services.
Ensure safe and timely referrals through established referral pathways.
Coordinate with Child Protection, MHPSS teams, and other relevant sectors to ensure appropriate follow-up.
Participate in regular supervision and case discussion sessions when required.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Ensure proper documentation of activities and timely submission of weekly narrative reports.
Maintain organized and confidential filing systems.
Immediately report any protection or safeguarding concerns according to internal SOPs.
Compliance & Safeguarding:
Strictly adhere to the organization’s Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy, PSEA policy, and Community Feedback Mechanism.
Participate in mandatory trainings including CP Minimum Standards, Safe Identification and Referral, PFA, Emotional Crisis Management, and other required sector trainings.
Work flexibly, including in volatile or emergency environments when needed.
