MSD is launching a new project aimed at enhancing emotional wellbeing, strengthening social connectedness, and improving access to protection services for vulnerable communities. To support project implementation, MSD is seeking to recruit a Facilitator to join its mobile roving team, providing psychosocial support activities inside and outside displacement shelters and community locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate community-based MHPSS sessions for adults and children.
- Conduct activities for displaced and vulnerable populations in shelters and community settings.
- Contribute to creating safe, inclusive, and respectful spaces for participants.
- Support outreach and engagement with displaced persons and host communities.
- Prepare activity materials and contribute to session documentation and reporting.
- Ensure activities follow Do-No-Harm, protection, and safeguarding principles.
Requirements
- Experience in facilitation, community engagement, education, or social work.
- Previous experience with NGOs or humanitarian programs is preferred.
- Good understanding of ethics, safeguarding, PSEA, and safe participation principles.
- Training in Self Help Plus (SH+) or similar MHPSS approaches is considered an asset.
